The Story of Villa Miramar
Before Villa Miramar became what it is today, there was only a forgotten corner of land by the sea.
When we, Yoan and Vincenzo (Renzo), left Sardinia looking for a place closer to Renzo's family in Taranto, we discovered this small piece of paradise. At the time, there was only an abandoned stone building known locally as "The Farmer's House." Time, wind, and salt had left their marks, and few people could imagine a future here.
But we could.
Little by little, with determination, patience, and countless hours of work, we began bringing our dream to life. Together with family members and friends—many of them skilled builders—we transformed this forgotten place into the home that now stands before you.
The journey took only three years, but every stone carries a story, every wall holds a memory, and every corner reflects the love that helped create it.
Later, I brought my parents from Cuba. They lived here with us for seven beautiful years, sharing daily life, laughter, family meals, sunsets, and precious moments that today remain among our dearest memories. Although they are no longer with us, their presence is still part of this home.
Villa Miramar was never built as a business project.
It was built as a dream: a place where a family could live happily together.
Perhaps this is why guests often tell us that the house feels different. More welcoming. More authentic. More alive.
Everything you see here has a meaning. The furniture, the decorations, the photographs, the objects collected over the years—each one tells a small piece of our story.
Surrounded by nature and facing the endless beauty of the Mediterranean Sea, Villa Miramar remains, first and foremost, our home.
We are simply happy to share it with you.
Welcome to our story.

OUR STORY
Before Villa Miramar existed, there was only a small abandoned stone house facing the Mediterranean Sea.
When we, Yoan and Vincenzo (Renzo), left Sardinia looking for a place closer to Renzo's family in Taranto, we found this forgotten corner of land. Most people saw only an old ruin known as "The Farmer's House."
We saw a home.
With the help of our family and friends, and through years of dedication, we slowly transformed this place into what it is today.
Soon after, Yoan's parents joined us from Cuba. They lived here with us for seven wonderful years. The memories we created together became part of the soul of this house and remain with us every day.
Villa Miramar was never built as a hospitality business.
It was built as a dream.
A dream of living together, surrounded by nature, close to the sea, sharing simple moments with the people we loved most.
That is why every room, every piece of furniture, every photograph and every object you find here has a story behind it.
This is not simply a house we own.
This is the place where we built our life.
Today we are happy to open its doors and share a small part of that story with you.
Welcome to Villa Miramar.
Welcome home.
